To this date no one actually lives in Antarctica except the animals. But we do have some scientists who are researching over there. See 'What About Animals?' on the left for more information about animals of Antarctica. There is also a place for tourists over in Antarctica so if you want to go there's a place for you to stay. There are no native humans in Antarctica at all though.
To be honest I wouldn't want to stay in Antarctica because of its incredibly low temperatures. But if you want to I would stay wrapped up. Around 3000 people visit Antarctica in the summer period and around 1000 in the winter. I don't think you were expecting that many people to visit a land covered in ice!
